Addressing devices is done mechanically via a dip switch on the back of each device.

How many addresses does the Simplicity Micro support?

The Simplicity Micro can handle a total of 32 devices. However, should you require a system capable of handling more then we also offer the Simplicity 64 (up to 64 devices) and the Simplicity 128 (up to 128 devices).

When installing the Simplicity Micro, do I have to return the loop to the panel?

No, the system will work with return loop or not. However, if an open ended loop is used, any open circuit would loose all of the devices beyond the open circuit, whilst with a returned loop, no devices are lost.
